A perfect side dish for your summer BBQ or a very balanced lunch for a hot summer day.

Ingredients
10 soft dried figs
100g feta cheese
100g walnut halves
5tbsp of sesame oil
1tbsp apple vinegar
1 iceberg lettuce, washed, dried and sliced
1 soft pear peeled and sliced
1 tbsp brown sugar
Salt and pepper
Balsamic vinegar cream
Method:
Heat up a flat frying pan in order to toast the walnuts for 3 minutes adding a spoon of brown sugar, stirring frequently. Remove and set aside to cool.
Slice the figs and place them in a large salad bowl together with the iceberg salad and the pear.
Grate or sprinkle the feta cheese over the salad.
Add the cooled toasted walnuts.
Poor the sesame oil, vinegar, salt and pepper over the salad. Stir well to season. Drizzle some drops of balsamic vinegar cream as a final touch.
